About Us
Welcome to the eleventh session of Rato Bangala Model United Nations to be held from 16th-18th December 2016 in Kathmandu, Nepal. This student-run national conference will host over 500 delegates from within Nepal and the surrounding region.
Since it first hosted the Model UN in 2005, Rato Bangala has provided a benchmark for MUNs in Nepal and is known for its exceptional standard of debate. With each passing year, the level of debate has only risen. The conference always promises exceptional argumentation over some of the most pressing issues within the global agenda and puts forth resolutions that even Ban Ki-moon would be proud of. Not only that, RBSMUN provides a platform for students to become compromising leaders and develop essential skills including researching, public speaking, problem-solving and critical thinking. Delegates work in concert to come up with solutions to international challenges, take on ideas and develop skills of all sorts, and build relationships.
